Donington testing

Donington Park testing, November 2025

A great day at Donington Park shaking down an ex-BTCC BMW E46 Super 2000 touring car from the early 2000s. This one’s been with us for a while for various repairs and prep work to bring it back up to spec — and today it finally hit the track for the first time in a year. It ran flawlessly, and that BMW Motorsport straight-six sounded absolutely mega. We completed everything on the test programme and now it’s back to the workshop for a bit more fine-tuning. A real credit to the quality and workmanship of the BSR team, and of course to BMW for building such an iconic bit of kit.

We had a fantastic weekend, qualifying in P8 for Race 1 and going on to finish at P5. Race 2 was even better, managing to making it onto row 3 of the grid in P5 for the start and going on to finish 3rd.

Congratulations to the race winners of Race 1 – Tim Gray from VR Motorsport in their Praga R1T. Then for Race 2 the race winners were – John Seale and Marcus Clutton from JMH Automotive in John’s new Lamborghini Huracan.

Preview of Round 8 at Brands Hatch, Dunlop Endurance Championship, 12/13 November 2016

The season finale of the Dunlop Endurance Championship is almost upon us! We are really looking forward to this weekend at Brands Hatch. The circuit is a firm favourite of ours and after the remarkable events at Oulton Park, we are looking forward to another challenge. And a challenge it will certainly be as this final round will see 16 endurance teams race "into the night" as a result of daylight saving.

Overview of Round 5 at Croft, Dunlop Endurance Championship, 23rd July 2016

Last weekend at Croft really proved just what this little team is capable of. Having overcome some niggly problems through the first half of the season this weekend seemed to unfold in a more measured way. The team had a solid test day on Friday which provided some much needed track time as the Z4 had not visited the circuit before. It also gave Ian some extra time in the car which proved so valuable in the race. The team was also pleased to welcome the "new boy" Carlos, a Masters Graduate from Oxford Brookes University, he has a font of knowledge to help in the data analysis and his ongoing input is greatly anticipated.

INGSport have had a busy summer! We hope you've all had a good one too.

We have spent time repairing and respraying the car. We also exhibited at the BMW Car Club National Festival in Gaydon in August.

Not only that but we have been thinking about what 2017 has in store for INGSport and had talks with potential sponsors for next year, and we've even squeezed in a holiday or two!
